“Members Helping Members Display & Discuss” — A New Interactive Format
Discussion Leader: Mike Banner
Web Display: Kay Wais
18 people attended
For this Wellness Roundtable, we tried a format we called “Members Helping Members: Display & Discuss.” The idea was inspired by some of our favorite podcasts, where the conversation moves naturally from one interesting topic to the next, with enough depth to be meaningful — but enough energy to keep things moving.
Our Discussion Leader, Mike Banner, helped guide the flow of the evening - encouraging thoughtful conversation, helping us go deeper when a topic was engaging, and gently move us along when a topic had run its course.
Here are some of the things we discussed:
The new creatine study that suggests that, in addition to its other benefits, it may also be helpful in fighting cancer.

CBD products, specifically for sleep
The new AI tool that is made specifically for health research.
GLP1 and other weight loss products (risks, what the new generation of the GLP1 blockers are)
Statins
Frequency healing devices
Grounding
Request for local expertise for a doctor for vestibular/balance disorders
Wearables how some are now detecting heart events
As always, our Wellness Roundtables are an informal, interactive meeting designed for members who enjoy learning, sharing, asking questions, and exploring new ideas together.
