Volunteer Opportunities

We are always seeking additional volunteers to help with the club. We will try to accomodate flexible roles based on our volunteers interest. But here are some areas that we know we could use help with:

• Facebook group management.

  • Reviewing that joining members are really seeking to be part of the community (and are not there to sell or promote).

  • Posting upcoming events.

  • Monitoring that the discussions are appropriate

  • Posting encouraging and inspiring messages

• CoLead the Tours

  • Dan O'Connel is seeking a Tour CoLeader who will help find and lead future club tour events

• Wellness Roundtable

  • Discussion Leaders sought for meetings

  • Welcome table/greeter

• Google calendar manager

• Website content manager

• Subscriber data entry and database manager

• Email announcement proofer/tester

• Olympia meeting video recorder/poster

• YouTube Channel manager

• Representative for information tables at expos, trade shows, and other events around The Villages

• Head counter (we like to post an accurate headcount for all of our meetings). The rec center staff who does ID/scanning is usually gone before our meeting is done.
