After earning a BA in Humanities from Providence College, Dan O’Connell launched a distinguished career in the dental industry, earning recognition as Achiever and Salesman of the Year. He later completed an MBA in Marketing at Babson College with corporate sponsorship, which led to his recruitment as a Product Manager for a division of the world’s largest dental company. In that role, he oversaw research and development, product profitability, packaging, quality control, advertising, and the coordination of studies conducted at leading dental schools.
Across subsequent marketing and sales positions, Dan continued to excel, including serving as Pelton & Crane’s top salesman during the rollout of the Cerec CAD/CAM ceramic-reconstruction project.
After his recent diagnosis of Myasthenia Gravis, a rare autoimmune neuromuscular condition, Dan has become deeply committed to exploring and sharing strategies for better health. This passion aligns directly with his role as Tour Leader for the Health Wellness Club in The Villages, where he helps members discover resources, clinics, and wellness opportunities throughout the community.
Today Dan stays active by teaching lead-certification classes in construction, promoting the value of nutritional health through NuSkin/Pharmanex, and enjoying time with his three daughters, five grandchildren, and the healthy, active lifestyle offered in The Villages.
